Nothing goes with a long weekend like some late night gaming sessions.

So, what are you guys playing this weekend?

Twilight Princess
Wii Sports (bowling mostly)
Sneak King
Lost Planet Multiplayer Demo
maybe some more FFXII too.

I've been really tempted to get Elite Beat Agents ever since I DL'd the demo at toys r us last week.

It's been all FF12 so far. When I turn it off, I wanna go back and play it 15 minutes later...

FF12 and a little GH2 here and there because that's all I've got and that's plenty.

I forgot about sneak king already, I might have to stop out tonight and grab it.

I'm still playing Final Fantasy IV, Wii Sports, and Monkeyball.

Hopefully I'll be joining you FF12 crusaders around Christmas time. I'm really looking forward to it.

Like Frank said, it's been Wii Sports around here nearly nonstop. Last night we had some drinks and played a little to much Wii. Frank and I drank brews and did the expert courses and got our asses handed to us. We also had a pretty good bout in Tennis. Bowling seems to be king over here to as it's the most played game.

After that Frank somehow convinced us to download Altered Beast. It's so god damned terrible. But you know what? I haven't laughed as hard at a video game in a long time. My brother in law actually provided the Wii points for Altered Beast. He was determined to play Donkey Kong, and since his sons system has the broken WiFi, he downloaded it here. He bought 20 bucks worth of Wii Points, so we're likely going to download Bomberman '93 and have a 5 player blast fest tonight.

I'm off to Demi's parents for the weekend tomorrow night. I'm debating if I want to bring the Wii along to see what they think, or if I should do lots of work on Ninja. Hmmm.

I just beat the first quest in zelda, starting the second one after the flyers game today. I never realized how ridiculously easy Gannon is to beat, hit him with your sword 3 times and nail him with a silver arrow. I remember it being alot tougher.

I've never beaten the 2nd quest. I couldn't find the 5th dungeon! Or th 6th, one of them.

Me either. To be honest, I can't tell you how far I got in the second quest because it's been so damn long since I tried it out. Good luck with that one.

Lost Planet online is friggin great. It's only one map and gameplay type, but it looks like they did everything right. This is gonna be an 'owner' for me when it comes out.

Its impossible, I was in the first dungeon and forgot the skeletons threw knives, it took 2 of my 3 hearts. I'll beat it, eventually.

You gotta get the silver ring right away. Just save up for 250 rupees and go buy it. Man, I can't believe I still remember this stuff. I think I even still remember where to buy it!

I thought it was blue....

Anyway, I've still been playing Okami (over 40 hours now!!!). I want to freaking beat this game before I get sucked into the new Zelda or FF12 (its getting REALLY hard not to pop either of those in). To top it off I also rented Monkey Ball, Red Steel, and Call of Duty 3.

I might have to pickup CoD3, its actually pretty good. I was surprised that I liked it as much as I have. I havn't popped in Red Steel yet. Monkey Ball is Monkey Ball. Its not bad, and has a crap load of mini games but aside from that well....

I didnt know exactly where to buy it in the second quest, but I did that in the first one. Its ridiculous all the stuff you remember, like in the forest to get to the graveyard/level six North west south West. All the heart containers, awesome. I'm gonna dedicate some time to the 2nd quest tomorrow.

I still remember where a lot of the bushes are that you can burn for the secrets.

Sol, how does Lost Planet play? Like, are there similarities to RE4's control scheme, or any other game? I'm curious.

plays closer to socom or gears of war than RE4. the grappling hook makes it the closest thing I've ever played to a successor to Bionic Commando.

GRAPPLING HOOK!? Oh man.... why... WHY!

Why couldn't I have gotten the Xbox from Amazon?

Dude, Amazon just made me mad with that stupid gimick. 1.5 minutes and it was all sold out. It might have been even faster than that because that's how long it took for the page to load for me to tell me that it was all sold out. I timed it before 2pm too! 1:59pm I hit the refresh button. Those sons of bitches.

Gimmick? Tell me how 1,000 people getting an Xbox for $100 is a gimmick. It's called everyone and their mother wanted one. What pisses me off is that I'm sure way more then half of that traffic were scalpers trying to buy it just to make a couple bucks off of it. Why not give us guys who really want it, you know, to PLAY games on, a fair chance? That's the part that makes me mad.

Comeon, you don't seriously think they did it because of the spirit of the season or some coorporate head suddenly decided to be generous do you? It's called getting a massive amount of traffic to their website and by running this Xbox sale, they've managed to generate a tremdous amount of people coming to their site. The majority of the people won't be getting an Xbox for $100 but I bet a good percentage of them decided to stay on Amazon and buy something else. And I wanted to buy one to sell it. Does that make me a bad person? Who cares why people want to buy it for. Let them be.
