Just wanted to get this thread up before tomorrow. We don't have any topics picked out, so suggestions are welcome!

1) What are your two most anticipated games of the holiday season?

2) What Gaming/Nerd conventions do you go to/follow (if any)? Do you like going to stuff like that were nerdy people of similar minds get together?

Hahahaha, we can't talk about movies. Maybe during SRP we can do that. Plus I didn't see Basterds.

My anticipated games will not be released during the holiday season... :(

Starcraft 2 (it's done when it's done, but definitely NOT before 2010)
To a MUCH lesser extent, FF13

That is all.

I find it hard to believe you won't buy Super Mario Brothers Wii.

Oh, I forgot those games were coming out. I guess I will pick them up.

I guess I wasn't looking forward to them that much since I forgot they existed. haha :P

Modern Warfare 2 for great campaign and great(er?) multiplayer. Had about 11 days played in the first one's multiplayer, and still play it.

Uncharted 2 because I loved the first one and this new one looks better in every way.

After attending the last convention. I think I'm done with these conventions. I can't stand these people... I really can't. I'd much rather prefer they go on living their meaningless light saber wielding lives without me having to witness it.

I was trying to follow Blizzcon to watch some of the SC2 footage. I got to see 1.5 2v2 and 1 1v1 match which was really cool. But the Q&A was an absolute disgrace and just reminded me how mutantish the people who play these games really are thus further proving how video games really do destroy one's social skills and it makes me want to cry.

Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend for me. So much stuff got moved into next year, but there's still a lot of really good looking games coming out around the end of the year.

I've been to Otakon twice, and while there are all sorts of mutants, it's been a lot of fun both times. There's a ton of stuff to see/do and the game room is ridiculous.

I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed 2 more than anything else. I'm definately buying uncharted day 1, but I know it'll be great. AC 2 actually has some improvements to make over the first so I'm excited to see how they will address them.
