i'm all caught up on BAC now. its a total no brainer that MGS4 will be announced for 360 this summer. that game cost a mint to produce, and why not get it out to as many consoles as possible. i'm sure sony had a one year exclusivity contract with konami, and that'll be up this summer.

E3 should be pretty good though. i'm sure there will be more of assassin's creed 2 being shown. as in actual gameplay. like phil said, i really hope maybe something new is shown from team ico. at leasst a screen shot or maybe more of an idea of what they're up to.

also, kojima's website has a "5" appearing back there now...MGS5?? my mind will go insane.

btw, virt pump up at the end of this one. love it haahah

Still nothing... are you sure it's configured for firefox? It shows up on IE.

It's not playing for me in IE. I'm just going to download the MP3 directly.

I'm still holding out hope that it's the new Snatcher that Suda, Kojima and Mikami are supposed to be working on.

The 5 could be an S, and if you go to the flash site, April 2007 will pop up every so often at the bottom of the screen. That's when they first revealed that they wanted to work together on that project.

I can dream, can't I? I mean, I love MGS as much as the next guy, but I think I'd like to see Kojima try something new again.

(SORRY FOR THE CAPS. I'M RENDERING AT WORK)

NATE, YEAH A NEW SNATCHER GAME WOULD ACTUALLY BE PRETTY COOL. I ENOYED PLAYING IT ON AN EMULATOR, BUT I THINK THE TEXT BASED FORMAT NEEDS TO BE LET GO OF. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE GILLIAN SEED BACK IN ACTION AGAIN.

Well, with all of those people involved, I'm also positive a new Snatcher game would be some kind of uber game. I imagine it wouldn't be even a fraction as rigid as the original. Seeing how adventure games play now, I'd imagine the detective parts to be similar to the original, but with some badass action scenes and QTEs to keep it fresh.

I guess I still have a soft spot for those types of games, and they really don't make them anymore since the death of Sierra's quest series and Lucasarts dumping of all of their adventure games. Thank god for the Wallace and Gromit and Sam and Max episodic games.

Think of it this way, Tim Schafer used to make pure adventure games, but now he makes these really cool adventure/action hybrids. I'd like to see Snatcher go in that kind of a direction. But I'm still getting ahead of myself. I'd be happy with a Metal Gear: Raiden, but I'd be fucking ecstatic if I saw that Project S was moving forward.
