I just Wiki'd Majora's Mask and PS2, they were both released on October 26th, 2000 in the states. I just remember seeing so many gold copies of the game in the stores for a while. I think that's a big reason why a lot of people never played or finished the game.

Wow thats pretty amazing. I guess the reason I didnt think it was the same year is because it also came out at a similar time as FF9 for PS1, but I forgot FF9 came out when the PS2 launched. TIME. It's crazy.

so i just gave it a listen. like i mentioned in the silent hill wii thread, i don't mind a remake of a video game as long as it brings something a little new to the table ala the RE remake on the GCN. on the flip side, i like the original MGS as opposed to the twin snakes remake even with the new controls.
