cool...how long has this been in the works?

So where is the event I wouldn't mind popping over and bringing some of my NES games along (some beer and some caffeinated drinks). Not sure I would be any good beating any of them, but you never know... Just as long as you don't try and beat Final Fantasy or Back To the Future (first one takes too long, and second one was impossible, at least it was when I was a kid... only made it past the pie fight 2-3 times and never was able to beat the under the sea dance... actaully I think I only rented that one.... I'll have to go break out the NES box and see what games I really own... havn't done that in years. Heck I even bought Jason's (older cousin of Johnny Manf) NES and all his games in '92 when my NES stopped working).

Awesome! Be sure to submit this to Digg and Kotaku. They get a good amount of views for those other guys' marathons. To save time during the marathon....don't let Solidefy set-up the NES . I kid, I kid.

Everytime I played it, I'd make it to the Party Wagon stage and want to take a sledgehammer to the game.

Actually, I'm pretty confident I can beat TMNT1.

Tell you what, you give me Silver Surfer, and I'll beat it. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have beaten it... though that may have been with the help of save states.

Ok, so tomorrow I am breaking out the box and taking a look to see what games I still have. I know I would personally be up for a 2 player co-op of Rampage or some Contra action (however, I think I am rusty on Contra seeing as I havn't played it since I beat it with only 3 guys and no continues 17-18 years ago...). Or maybe some Cabal 2 player action as well.

The last 2 are short enough to be good (and I am pretty sure Contra at least is already on the list ). Rampage would take 2-3 hours to beat the entire USA, which makes it a little too long I think for this event.
