you can watch TV as well. we have it and we love it! $7 a month beats the shit out of any cable plan we could find.

Yeah but Blockbuster just started offering games in addition to movies. If they start a streaming service, that could be huge.

its crazy how the mighty have fallen. blockbuster was once this beast that just came into a town and shut down all other competitors. now, its basically a shadow of what it used to be.

that said, i tried putting netflix on my ps3 and i forgot my password. i still have a disc from them i took almost a eyar ago sitting on my desk next to my couch. i forget i have it half the time.

In that case, then Blockbuster has always had games, but it was never part of their online/mail service.

Well early on with their mail service you could return your DVD to the store and rent a game for free. Then they took that away but kept it so you could return your DVD to the store and rent a DVD for free.

I quit their service when they took that away. The business model must not have worked so I can understand stopping something that is losing money, but they totally alienated their customers by doing so.

last night i finally got around to streaming some netflix to my girlfriend's netflix-ready BR player, and it worked really well. surprisingly smooth experience. tonight i plan on registering my PS3 at home. while not EVERYTHING is available to stream, there's enough there to keep you busy. glad i did it.

Netflix really needs to give you the option to view films in their native language and have subtitles. I really can't stand watching stuff that's dubbed. I would have thought this would be one of the basic options they would provide but I guess not.

I was actually considering doing the one month trial of Netflix Canada, then I remembered that it's a streaming servive and it would obliterate my 60gb/mth. Fuck.

Starting tomorrow Netflix streaming will add nearly 700+ episodes of Power Rangers, all of VR Troopers and all of... Big Bad Beetleborgs.

This is like the best news and the worst news at the same time.

I just signed up for Netflix.
Breaking Bad Season 3 Disc 1 should arrive today. Wanna try to finish it up before Season 4 starts in a month.
After I finish the season I'm going to randomly start getting movies that I've never seen and people yell at me for it, like Tombstone.

I could do the streaming but my Xbox is hooked up to my smaller TV in my computer room. I'd rather watch stuff on any of my other TVs.

Hook your Wii up to another TV and watch it that way.
