I'm not finished the Chuck Liddell book yet but I just got this one for my birthday. Its a book on the life and death of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott called Black Tooth Grin.

I finished "A Game of Thrones" the other night and went right out and bought "A Clash of Kings". I read about 75 pages of it last night, pretty good so far. Tyrion Lannister is the (half) man.

Weird, I finally started reading A Game of Thrones after being berated by my friends for so long. Bran just got pushed out the window by the Queen's brother when he caught them bangin. Pretty brutal stuff all around. I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the characters, but it's getting easier the further I get into it. I'm really curious to see how the HBO miniseries turns out.

9-14-2010 - "Iceman: My Fighting Life" by Chuck Liddell

Really good read. I was wrong about Chuck in a previous post, he didnt have a messed up life at all. In fact, it was a pretty normal life. Just a dude that liked to fight. The book is a biography of Chuck as a kid up through his fights in 2007. Even some insight into his partying that affected some of his training. He compared things to Rocky 3 where Rocky doesnt think he has to train as hard for fights because he's the champ. Its funny that he mentions a lot about his iron jaw when lately in fights he's had a glass jaw. I'd recommend it for any UFC fans.

Now on to "Black Tooth Grin: The High Life, Good Times, and Tragic End of Dimebag Darrell Abbott".

Dude that just made me start to think and I've come to the conclusion that I've read eight 600-1000 page books since early September. I really need to cut back.

I get in reading time at work when it's slow. Usually only like 50 pages a day, if that. And I'm not reading every day for one reason or another, so it can take me a while to get through a book. I got a huge chunk of A Game of Thrones done waiting for my dad to get out of elbow surgery. Probably read 3-400 pages that day.

Yeah in August I was coming home from Nova Scotia and I read Stephen King's Under the Dome in a day and a half of driving and that book was like 1200 pages with MASSIVE pages and normal font.

I started reading "The Shattering" last night. I like Golden's Warcraft books, I feel like shes the only WoW author capable of telling an actual store.

I loved all of it except the end. It got a little bit too weird for my liking.

I'm reading Jurassic Park, I've been meaning to for years now. The opening chapter was awesome.

The book is so much better than the movie. Not that the movie was bad or anything.

Clash of Kings is done!

Time for a Storm of Swords. All of my friends tell me this is the best book in the series so far. I can't wait!
