Finished, and it was awesome.

I read online that book 4 is about Roland at 14. I'm pumped.

mine too and anyone I talk to about the books says thats their least favorite. Check the comics out after you finish the 4th book, they go further into depth with awesome artwork.

Yeah, honestly, Wolves of Calla was my least favorite. I had so much trouble pushing through that one it wasn't funny, but I got to one point a little past halfway where I couldn't put it down. So even my least favorite one of the series, I still enjoyed. Alot of people say Song of Susannah was the worst, but I thought it was still pretty good. Nothing beats Wizard and Glass, and the drawing of three though.

I don't like Song of Susannah because she was my least favorite member of the Ka-Tet and the book was centered around her.

Still on book 4. I'm enjoying it so far. I've been waiting for shit to hit the fan and for the little gunslinger(s) to be victorious...but it keeps hinting that its going to go horribly wrong. :(

Holy shit. Roland, Cuthbert, and Alain just took out Jonas and his crew. It was so fucking awesome and well written that I could see it perfectly in my mind. So badass.

Finished book 4, bought book 5 and the hardcover version of all the Gunslinger Born comics! I read a couple pages, but I wanted to know if there were any spoilers in it besides from what I already read. I just saw a picture in it of the Crimson King, and stopped. Can I continue without having it ruined?

I'd say yeah, its pretty much based during the 4th book battle and to the end of that book... I read it after I finished the series though, and I really don't remember if there were any spoilers.

Did you read the "real" ending? Because the first part pissed me off then I was actually quite happy with it.

yea i am not quite pissed anymore....the more i think about it these books might be a sort of unofficial prequel to Robert Brownings "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came" ,but i am not too sure.

My biggest disappointment wasn't with the ending it was with how he killed off The man in black, it seemed like he was like oh crap I have to kill him off.

The ending made sense, it was ruined for me before I finished reading the books though so I guess I had time to get ready for it. Maybe next time around he won't leave the Horn of Eld at the Battle.

I was somewhat dissappointed with the death of The Man in Black because I had this idea in my head of how Roland was gunna kick his ass.

Also what battle are you referring too? Jericho Hill? If so, Roland only loops back to where the first book started, which was in the desert, and roland didn't start out with the horn until the end of the the 7th book, which is what I am presuming is the last time Roland will have to go through that whole mess.

I won't, don't worry. I heard from one of my teachers who read them, that the ending wasn't very good....which is pretty sad. Maybe it will be better because I expect it to be bad now.
