Anyone go out to celebrate Free Comic Book Day yesterday?

They had some interesting issues out this year, including GI Joe written by Larry Hama (the original writer from the 1980's Marvel series) and it starts where his last issue in the 80's ends.

Also Green Hornet came out that was written by Kevin Smith (the story is his original screenplay for a Green Hornet film)

Overall it was a good time...I had an in store appearance at Brave New Worlds in Philadelphia, I took pictures and wrote up a recap on my website if anyone wants to check it out.

That's cool you had a good time out there Stillies. It's hard sitting all cramped up at those tables all day, especially being on display. I've only done it twice (Wizard World, MAG Fest) but those were pretty tough days. Emotionally and everything.

I don't even understand that response within the context of free comic book day.

But good to know.

*Edit: I totally didn't read Stilles blog entry about actually doing a little booth at the store... so I'll just apologize for my above comments, but felt I should leave them in since I can admit when I've been a giant douchebag.*

Hahah, it's fine. I would have just explained why I wrote that if you hadn't seen it on your own.
