Hey all, You probably don't know me, but i have some flash experience and am fooling with lip syncing, tell me what you think.

Don't think much of my comment, I'm just a spectator. We actually have some Flash pros on this forum, but I'm sure you won't mind my comment.

I like the style of the lip syncing alot. With the shaky mouths and size tweeining. But, I think you need to just line up the mouths better with the voices, simply said, no "more frames of animation", just sync it up a bit better.

I did this at 4am in 30 minuts for everyone's information, and I can be an elitist bitch when it comes to fight animations. I'll have to show you guys some of those sometimes ^_o.

PS: we should have some flash battles...

yeah i agree with gregman. i like the shaky, mouth shapes when there's a long hold on a vowel in the song. here's my crit. the song moves pretty fast and you seem to have alot of inbetweens for the key mouth shapes. this gives it a bit of a swimmy feel like the mouth is squirming around a bit too much. i suggest trying to drop a few inbetweens and hit right on a consonant. i think the third cut "i dont know if its for sure" the sync is off.

again, i do like the approach. keep at it!

Hey Sloth, welcome to the boards. Glad to see you're having some fun around here.

Decent for a half hours worth of work. If you're trying to figure out lip sync, I wouldn't suggest starting with a song. With music it's hard to pin point particular sounds (especially with guitars wailing in the background) so I'd suggest taking a line of audio from something (like a cartoon or movie). Try animating to that audio clip and see what you can come up with. Hope it helps.
