Jeff, are you sure you lost that Parlay with the Dolphins? I double-checked and I won my bet with the line Dolphins +1.5 and I put the bet in a couple of hours before kickoff. I don't see how the line could have swung all the way to -1.5 in two hours.

As for this week, I haven't looked into things too much yet, but Alabama -4 against Florida is sticking out as is Georgia Tech -11 vs. NC State. Not sure how i feel about the Thursday night games yet.

Also Temple is only -7.5 against Toledo. I don't know if this is a trap game or if Vegas still undervalues how good this team is.

Saturday college picks

PLAY OF THE DAY: Virginia -16 over Idaho. I honestly didn't even know idaho had a football team. Idaho is traveling cross country after losing by 17 to Fresno State and by 24 to Bowling Green at home. Idaho gives up almost 33 ppg and is 117th in the nation rushing averaging only 67 ypg. I think Virginia runs away with this one.


Temple -8 vs. Toledo. There still seem to be people that aren't sold on Temple which is why this line is as low as it is. I think Temple keeps rolling here. Opposing offenses are averaging over 30ppg Toledo this year while the Owls are 1st in Division one with 7.8ppg given up over their 4 games.

Alambama -5 vs. Florida. I just think this Alabama team has too much talent and experience for Florida even though the gators are at home. Right now I don't see anyone stopping the Tide, although I do think this one will be close for a good part of the game.

Side note, I did like Wisconsin, but the line moved all the way to 10 so I am going to stay off of it. I hope I have a good day because this is the first time all season there are a few NFL games i really like.

Love the Ravens -12 today. Why? Let us recall when Mcnabb was benched and Kolb came in to replace him. Kolb looked god awful and had his shit pushed in by the Ravens defense. Ravens are pissed after last week's loss to the Jags and will bury Kolb in Baltimore.

I have a long day/night of work ahead so it's time to be a degenerate.

New Mexico State +34.5 against Georgia. I will be the first to say I don't know shit about NMS, but I do know that Georgia has its top three running backs suspended and will be starting a converted WR today. Combine that with the fact that this is a sandwich game for uga after beating Florida last week and with auburn next week. Add in the fact that New mex st. hasnt lost by more then 20 points all year and I will take my chances here. I think Georgia wins big, just not that big.

Houston -27.5 at UAB. Houston can score 70 points like its no problem. They QB is rediculous and their offense will not be stopped by a struggling UAB team.

11 a.m. Special: Manchester United -1.5 goals against Sunderland (-140). Why? Because your not a true degenerate until you bet a soccer game in anouther country. Also because Manchester United scoreds3.4 goals a game and Sunderland scores 1.0. Plus United got whipped by Manchester City in its last match and will be looking to show its fan base that was nothing more than a fluke. This should be an old fashoned beatdown.

I also like Stanford, but bumped them from my picks for a shot at soccer glory.
