Had a good outing from Boston on Sunday. Pedroia hit a homer. But man, I need a 1B.

I like my OF (Kemp, Holliday, Bay) and Russell Martin should be a good catcher this year.

Muckin' Cliff Lee as an SP. Can't use him till later this month.

week one down. I'm rolling in most of my 20 ESPN leagues. Shamoozal was a sub-par week . I can't believe i missed Josh Johnson on waivers.

ESPN 30-for-30 on Rotisserie Baseball was pretty interesting stuff.

Kyle Kendrick strikes again, this week i DIDN'T pick him up.

Cliff Lee got 8 Ks on Friday. Looked great! Too bad the Mariners lost cause Ichiro was in a bad squeeze play.

somehow i managed to bench Liriano in his last two starts in the Shamoozal league. That hurts a lot.

When I look at the matchup, it says I'm 10-1 this week against Werth's Beard,

yet at the bottom where I can look at all the matchups, it says I'm 8-3.

Either way, I had an awesome week. Coming for you next week Manf!

9-1 this week. Is it enough to push to 1st place?

I have Carl Crawford in Fantasy and look at his report for today.

Quote:
Crawford (testicular contusion) will not be in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles, the St. Petersburg Times' Marc Topkin reports. After taking a pickoff throw to the groin on Tuesday night, he'll rest on Wednesday and have Thursday's off day to recover as well. He could return to the lineup Friday.

OUCH

Damn Cliff Lee! 13 Strikeouts, pitched 9 innings, game went into extra innings, and Texas won. However, he didn't pitch a complete game, and he also didn't get the decision. Damnit!

Chris Coghlan went on the DL so I added Domonic Brown to my Fantasy team.
Had to jump on that in case he's a stud right off the bat. haha

I'm gonna go ahead and throw this out there:

Brett Myers is the ONLY PITCHER IN BASEBALL to go at least six innings in EVERY ONE OF HIS STARTS this year. He is nearly leading the league in quality starts despite missing time early in the season.

Mark it down, next year, Brett Myers is going to be a great value.

our last matchup, even thought it was 8-4, was really close. ERA, Wins, and HR really could have gone either way.

GoPhils 47 107 14 51 10 .271 0 0 10 1 0 13 129 3.32 0 0 4
The Generals Army 48 112 17 62 7 .255 0 0 11 2 1 3 86 2.93 0 0 8

Can't wait until next year.

I'd like to throw it out there that we include Holds as a pitching stat this upcoming year. And maybe scrap slams and no hitters.

I am a fan of baseball and it was nice to see all you guys discussing about it. What is the exact idea of this team? Will I be able to know about that from any one here? I am playing in my university team and I will like to join you too. I hope I will get a proper advice for this. I have a good experience and team spirit of the game.
