Condit got into a rhythm and owned him for at least 3 rounds...Diaz couldn't corner him and all those fuckin idiots on the message boards are saying all Condit did was run, Nooo he didn't let himself get cornered which is smart. Those combos he was hitting Diaz with were disgusting how the hell did he do that one that ended with a nasty head kick?! Dana White is probably disappointed because you know the only reason he flew GSP in there was so he could confront Diaz but you know what I am glad Diaz lost...fuck that guy he is a prick and is bad for the sport.

I'm so happy I don't have to argue with you guys over this. Also I love how everyone and their mom gave Diaz 5. To be honest I thought Diaz got 2. In 5 Condit worked his game pretty goddamn well and then Diaz had about a minute of a takedown with 1 failed sub and 0 strikes.

Also apparently Figueroa has some kind of testicular contusion.

Oh and I disagree with both that decision (Figueroa over Caceras) and Koscheck beating Pierce. I think the only reason Koscheck "won" two rounds was his 2 takedowns and I don't think he did shit with them but whatever. I also love how he purposely plays the bad guy (has said so in interviews) and then gets upset when fans boo him.

So Diaz tested positive for marijuana metabolites. He's facing a suspension of minimum 6 months (likely longer since he's a repeat offender).

It will be interesting to see if he actually shows up to his hearing (I think he has skipped one before) since he is "retiring". If he does skip it I think it will be a huge mistake since he will likely be banned from competition by the NSAC so he would not come back.

Oh also I wouldn't be surprised if the UFC just cut Diaz. They were already concerned about his behaviour and now he fails a drug test for the biggest fight of his career.

Loeffler messed up his ankle right before his fight. Bummer.

Also Brookins went from looking kind of uncomfortable to knocking the fuck out of Rocha on a HUGE mistake by Rocha. Went for a leg sub (probably a heel hook) and left his face open, Brookins just pounded the fuck out of him. Good to see the kid back in the win column. I really like his whole attitude.

So that Ellenberger fight showed me that even if he does fight Condit and manages to win GSP will obliterate him unless he can pull a Serra.

If it was 5 i have no doubt in my mind that Diego would have won. If you looked in Jake's eyes right before he flubbed that TD that led to that massive GnP he looked massively concussed.

To be honest though I don't think either man really has the cardio for a 5 rounder.

Bendo
Bader (unless Rampage knocks Bader out I do not want Rampage to win. I'm sick of hearing how dangerous of a knockout artist he is after about 3 years of no one even being really hurt by his punches. Also his last 2 KO's were Wanderlei and Chuck, not the most impressive)
Kongo (but I'd love it is Hunt knocked him out)
Shields (if Leban can submit Akiyama I'm fairly confident that Shields can too.)
Boetsch (probably the hardest fight to call, Boetsch's first big test at 185 but I have trouble going against him after the way he tossed around his last two [substantially smaller] opponents)
Hioki (he better steo it up though, his last performance was very lackluster)
Lauzon (another tough one)

Gomi
Yamamoto
Fukuda
Mizugaki

Tiequan

So far two fighters have lost that I believe need to be cut.

Zhang Tiequan: 1-3 in his last 4 and he just got blasted by a late replacement that a lot of people have said is not that great.

Steve Cantwell: 1-5 in his UFC career, is on a 5 fight losing streak (all Unanimous Decisions) and the only reason he was not cut earlier is because he moved from LHW to MW.

Make that 3. Kid Yamamoto is now 1-5 in his last 6, and is on a 3 fight winning streak. Sad day for Japan, Kid was still considered one of the P4P best Japanese fighters. and lost 3 in a row where he was a heavy favourite.

If Gomi loses he may also be on the chopping block. Also that would be 2 Japanese P4P legends losing in a row.

Although to be fair it is a lot harder to get cut when you are a big draw from Europe or Asia, as Dan Hardy has proven.

FUCKING SPECTACULAR COMEBACK BY BOETSCH. That might be a bigger comeback than Kongo vs Barry. In Kongo Barry it looked pretty even before that ending, this fight was complete domination by Okami. Boetsch looked like he had NOTHING for Okami, couldn't touch him standing, got obliterated on the ground, then BAM! KO!

Really glad the judges made the right call in the main event. I definitely had Bendo winning 3-4 rounds (3 was a toss up) but there were a whole bunch of people on Sherdog claiming Edgar won 1, 5 and either 3 or 4 (and in a few cases both). I thought Henderson clearly won 2, 4 and 5, with 1 and 3 being very close, possibly even 10-10.

hahaha amazing...Yeah I had it 2-2 going into round 5 and I was saying whoever won round 5 won the fight and at the very end Benson pulled it out...amazing night of fights, that Rampage slam on Darth was disgusting.

See I had Bendo clearly winning 2 and 4. 3 was way too close Edgar landed a few more punches but bendo landed harder and the takedowns were even so 10-10. 5 I had Bendo winning for sure, then the knockdown swung it in Edgar's favor but the ending pulled it out for Bendo IMO.

1 is the tricky one. Frankie looked like he was doing more but those "caught" kicks weren't truly caught, they landed with 100% force and then Edgar grabbed the leg before it went back down. Also he did NOTHING while holding the leg. The majority of the time Bendo out-struck Edgar while Edgar was holding his leg. Also Edgar's eye was already fucked after round one.

At the presser Edgar said he think his TDs were enough to give him the fight. I think he went 5/12, 1 of those got his nose busted by an upkick and another (even though that "slam" was more of a guard pull) led to a very tight guillotine. So out of his 5 takedowns, 2 led to him taking damage/almost submitted, and the other 3 Henderson just got up.

Oh and at the presser Edgar's eye is an absolute mess, his nose is clearly broken and his forehead looks very battered, red and covered with marks. Henderson looks like he hasn't even been in a fight.

Here are all of Edgars takedowns that he claims should have won him the fight...

Also here's a gif of that "knockdown". I seriously think that it was a slip, nothing serious landed and he kind of points towards his ankle (fighters frequently do this when they slip).
