What an awesome card. That was one of the best in a long time.

If you watched the entire card including the prelims then I would argue that it was one of the all time best.

I didn't watch this whole season so some of these picks are just random as fuck.

Mayhem
Bermudez (I think he takes it with superior wrestling and such but I wouldn't mind a nice KO from Diego)
Dillashaw (very tough call)
Ferguson
Bedford

Bass
Pague
Delorme
Siler
Caraway

Interesting that there are 2 Jackson fighters in the finale

Also I love that Akira isn't fighting. Pretty sure he's the only person not fighting.

Man the finals fights were so hard for me to pick. I'm still considering changing both. It's always hard with these kinds of fights because it has been months since the show ended taping.

Also interesting fact, 3/4 finalists train at pretty high profile gyms. Dodson and Diego are both with Jackson and Dillashaw is with Alpha Male (Urijah Faber's team).

Interesting choice going with the guy who didn't even make it onto the show over Silar.

Yeah I thought maybe he was getting lucky. haha
But so far I'm 0 for 3. Neace, Clopton and Ferguson lost.

EDIT: Make that 0 for 4. Shit.
EDIT2: Thank God. Marcus wins so I didn't get the goose egg on the prelims.

I was visiting home and didn't have my computer so I couldn't watch the prelims. Overall I loved the main card but the main event was disappointing. Mayhem REALLY needs to work on his striking and some wrestling if he wants to have the slightest chance of remaining in the UFC however it sounds like Dana was not even slightly impressed with his performance.

Man I was so disappointed. Hell his gas tank looked better against Shields and he spent most of that fight fighting off of his back and in submissions.

Also I hate all the Bisping hype. The dude is good but I don't think he stands a chance against Anderson or Chael. Sure dude is on a 4 fight winning streak but I don't think he has ever beaten a top 10 fighter in any weight class ever (Maybe Akiyama was 10th). Also he has pulled some BS recently. I think he should have been DQed against Rivera because that shot definitely caused the fight to end the way it did. Then this fight he attempts to throw a headkick at Mayhem while he's grounded.

Wow, Miguel Torres got released for a rape joke on Twitter. Well a rape van joke.
He said... "If a rape van was called a surprise van, more women wouldn't mind going for rides in them. Everyone like surprises."
Thats not that bad.

And Rashad Evans got in trouble for a Sandusky reference. Not released though. Just yelled at by Dana.
"I guarantee you'll be the first one to take a shot. Guarantee. Because I'm going to put my hands on you worse than that dude did them other kids at Penn State."

Also Forrest made a Sandusky rape joke on Twitter a few weeks ago and got in some shit but he didn't get fired, and I think even that was wayy worse.

Also I'm fairly certain that Torres was quoting a TV show.

Man. Jones saying that he knew Machida was out and him not mentioning anything to Big John is a bit douchey as far as fight etiquette goes. Also I love how you can plainly hear Greg Jackson say "Go check on Machida, get some fans".

Also that arm break was nuts. The second I saw him moving it back I was thinking "He is for sure going to pop/break that".

Ooooooo nice.

Quote:
Brittney Palmer, who recently returned to the UFC for ring-girl duties, will be in the March edition of "Playboy."

Officials from the men's magazine recently announced her involvement.

Palmer, who follows in the footsteps of current ring girl Arianny Celeste and former card-carrier Rachelle Leah, is expected to be featured on the cover.

Palmer's upcoming pictorial was teased in a recent edition of "Playboy" and made mention of her passion for painting.

Palmer, a former WEC ring girl who was folded into the UFC earlier this year, recently was on hiatus from the promotion. Although initially reported as a firing, and though Palmer's profile was temporarily removed from UFC.com, UFC president Dana White later said she simply was taking time away from her ring-girl duties to pursue her art career.

White then hinted this past month she'd be making a return. Palmer, of course, was cageside for this weekend's UFC 140 event, and she recently appeared at the 2011 World MMA Awards, where she was a finalist for Ring Girl of the Year.

Leah was featured in the November 2008 edition of "Playboy." Celeste, meanwhile, was featured on the cover of the November 2010 edition.
