Spam members

Phil, I'm guessing you see some newly registered members that are obviously fakes. Another one registered today. If you click their profile, their website link is usually some gambling or porn site. Seems to be happening within the last week or so. Any idea how they are pulling it off and is there a way to stop it? It doesn't seem like they've posted any garbage yet, but I assume its only a matter time after they register.

Some have said "I win money at poker online" or something along those lines. Spammers are now officially everywhere.

Dude the spam members are out of control this week. I've had at least one a day, and today there were two! Anyway, I've set some new options for the board, hopefully they won't interfere with people who are members already.

If it keeps up, I'll have to set it so that I personally allow people to enter the message board through e-mail confirmations. I hope it doesn't come to that, I'm to lazy!

There were four spam members when I woke up this morning, plus another I deleted yesterday afternoon. This is ridiculous.

For new members, I've set it so that I need to grant them access to use the boards. Hopefully robots won't be able to slip by me.

What a bunch of crap. Basically the thing I set just makes it so that I allow them to post, but they can still sign up. I'm just going to put it back to what it was, because it looks like I'm going to have to delete them regardless. Damn it all the hell. Do you see this spam bots? I HATE YOU! GO AWAY!

Yeah, thats what it's set to right now. But even though they can't post, their name still pops up along with the link to their site. Sons of bitches.
