88 Minutes – Al Pacino is forensic psychiatrist working for the FBI who receives a threatening phone call saying he has 88 minutes to live. When it starts getting serious he must scramble to find the identity of the caller and the reason they are doing this.

Speed Racer – Emile Hirsch is the young racer who is blackmailed into competing in The Crucible, a race that claimed his brother’s life years ago. His father (John Goodman) designs the Mach 5 car for him to use in the race, and Speed goes up against the mysterious Racer X (Matthew Fox).

Baby Mama – Tina Fey is a single woman who wants to have a baby but she isn’t able to. So she hires a surrogate mother to carry her kid. The surrogate is Amy Poehler and when they start living together, Fey realizes Poehler is a crazy woman. The story is also written by Tina, Amy, and…. Sigourney Weaver?!

The Forbidden Kingdom - a kung-fu obsessed teen is transported back to ancient China where he must attempt to team up two rival martial arts warriors (Jackie Chan and Jet Li) so they can help him save the imprisoned king.

Married Life – set in 1949, post World War II, comes the story of Patricia Clarkson and Chris Cooper as a married couple. Cooper confesses to his buddy Pierce Brosnan that he is unhappy and wants to leave his wife for another woman, Rachel McAdams. When Pierce sees the girl, he also tries winning her over.

The Promotion – two junior managers at a grocery store, played by Seann William Scott and John C Reilly, are both trying to get a coveted promotion while their friends and family can only sit back and watch how one will one up the other.

Babylon A.D. – Vin Diesel is a war veteran turned mercenary when he takes an assignment to escort a woman carrying a synthetic virus out of Russia. A cult is also after her so they can attain the virus that could bring the end to all humankind.

Redbelt – Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Mike Terry, a Jiu Jitsu instructor who saves the life of actor Chet Frank, played by Tim Allen. He then gets wrapped up with a wealthy Brazilian family who rig televised Mixed Martial Arts matches. He must compete even though it is against his beliefs.

Prom Night – a remake of the 1980 horror flick of the same name. A group of high school students cause the accidental death of a young girl but the truth is never discovered so they go free. Years later, the man who witnessed them kill the girl is back for vengeance.

Smart People – a professor (Dennis Quaid) has an accident and is treated by a doctor (Sarah Jessica Parker). The professor falls for the doctor and must bring her home to meet his smarty pants daughter (Ellen Page) and good for nothing brother (Thomas Haden Church).

CJ7 – a foreign film about a poor Chinese laborer (Stephen Chow of Kung Fu Hustle fame) who learns important lessons after his son receives a strange new toy. Also Co-written and Directed by Stephen Chow.

They delve into some adventure novels by Alex Rover (Jodie Foster) on occasion. One day, Jack gets caught out at sea in an expected storm and Nim doesn’t know what happened to him. She calls on the adventure author to help her find him… but doesn’t realize the author is nothing like her books and is actually afraid to leave the house.

Starship Troopers 3: Marauder – the straight to DVD sequel brings back Johnny Rico (Casper van Diem) to lead a team on a secret mission to rescue other troopers stranded on a planet of BUGS! New bugs, Old bugs, and everything in between. But this time the bugs have a weapon that could destroy humanity.
