I know you’re tired of hearing about Muscle Quest, but here is one last post about it and then I’ll shut up for a while (until next Saturday when it will inevitably be brought up on the podcast). Anyway, I added the “Frankensteiner: Complete” video that I uploaded to Newgrounds over the weekend to our Episodes section. You can now watch both Muscle Quest and The Toughest whenever you want, and there is a short notes section included with some thoughts on both terrible shorts.

It’s pretty crazy just how outdated Mario Paint is, but it has some serious charm to it. Imagine if Photoshop made all those crazy noises as you erased items and closed menu boxes. I would probably love it actually. I remember I never used to turn the speed of the mouse up in that game, but this time I set it to the fastest speed it could go, and it was still slow as heck. The fact that I still remembered what nearly every single button did is a testament to how much time I spent with that game back in the day. Well, I doubt I’ll ever make another cartoon using Mario Paint again, but I’m glad I did it.
