A washed up Bodyguard.
A single mom takes her kids to meet the family.
Ghosts pop up in photographs.
Sound like a load of crap or some great cinema? You be the judge.

Drillbit Taylor
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANSEL!

Drillbit Taylor – Owen Wilson is an out of work bodyguard who gets desperate and takes a job protecting three teenage dorky kids and also tries teaching them a thing or two about defending themselves. Written by Seth Rogen among others. Produced by Judd Apatow.

Meet the Browns
Tyler Perry rules black comedy.

Meet the Browns – ANOTHER Tyler Perry African American family movie. This time a single mother takes her kids to the father she never met’s funeral. While there she is introduced to the Brown family.

Shutter
Another Ring/Grudge Asian girl ghost. GREAT!

Shutter – Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor are an American couple in Japan. They discover weird images in the pictures they’ve been taking. They start to get haunted by these images so they investigate what they could be.

In limited release is Adam Carolla’s The Hammer where he plays an older boxer who gets a second chance at glory. Also the mainly improvised movie, The Grand, filmed mockumentary style about poker players. Starring Woody Harrelson, David Cross, Shannon Elizabeth, Cheryl Hines, and others.

Ya know what? Drillbit Taylor looks like crap but I feel like I should give it a shot anyway. Owen Wilson is usually pretty funny. Judd Apatow put some money into the project. Seth Rogen helped write it based on an old John Hughes screenplay. Hughes wrote TONS of good 80’s comedies. Its got a lot of things going for it but the previews just didn’t appeal to me. Ah well, may have to download.
