Lately we’ve been doing a lot of teasing on the site, and now it’s time to finally lay all the cards on the table. You have seen the new character designs and heard us talk about the new direction. If you tuned into the live recording of Shamoozal Radio #12 last night (which will be made available to download sometime within the next week) then you heard us spill our guts on the direction we’re taking. Missed out? No sweat, as I’m willing to divulge all the info.

Before you read any further, let it be known that you can catch the latest cartoon, “Rated M for Molester” over in the episode section. Now that you’re back, you know that these new shorts are going under the banner Shamoozal: GFGames. We always knew Grey worked a retail job, but it was never clear where he actually worked, and putting him in the fictional GFGames (basically Gamestop or EBGames) seemed like a natural fit for the character. As you can see, like we said before, we’re looking to crank out episodes quicker than last time with a heavy influence on video game culture. We still want to make the cartoons entertaining to people who aren’t particularly into games.

Also, from here on out all of our episode are being created in full 720 HD. We’re still figuring out exactly how to distribute the episodes in full HD, but needless to say you’ll be able to download the hi rez versions and play them through your Xbox 360, PS3, AppleTV, or any other media player you happen to own. Should be pretty cool once it’s ready. We’ll also provide the episodes here in their scaled down format as always, and we also want to make them easier to share. So expect a YouTube like video display soon that’ll allow you to share and embed our videos where ever you please.
