This is just the warm-up round for Friday night (SRP#11), but seriously… This shit makes me disgusted to play video games. I mean, it’s not like I expected anything worthwhile from Spike TV, but jesus christ…. this is just total garbage. So sit back and get fueled up with some hate… make a game out of it. Smash a Halo 3 flavored can of Mountain Dew on your head every time someone makes a joke about the fact that she show is in Las Vegas. You should be out of Mountain Dew by the time this 9 minute clip is over.

And for shit’s sake… what are the friggin’ assholes from The Hills doing there!? I’m going to go slash my wrists now.

I stopped watching when the naked painted chick walked up to the stage.

This kind of shit reminds us of just how well into its infancy gaming as a whole is. Considering the medium has been around for 30 years, it sure as hell is taking the slightest baby steps to move forward. Event like this, push it back a few steps.

It’s embarrassing. Why do people who know nothing about games present these? Why isn’t the host Cliffy B? Why aren’t the presenters guys like Hideo Kojima or David Jaffe? Even a known game journalist would make a great presenter. It’s ridiculous.

The categories are a joke. “Best Game Fueled By Mountain Dew.” Of course its going to go to Halo, he’s been all over their lame ass cans since Sept. I mean, are you kidding me? And all of the Game of the Year nominations are all 360 titles. Where is Mario? It’s not the highest rated game of the year for nothing.

I call bullshit on this entire thing.

MTV just needs to be blown up. The reason why this thing was even put together is because Halo 3 and GH3 and Rockband brought in so much money this year in the industry so they need to ride the cash cow for as much as it’s worth.
