One major release today?
Its rare that only one movie comes out on a Friday.
But I guess that’s all you get.

Awake
I bet he whines about doctors trying to kill him.

Awake – Hayden Christensen experiences anesthetic awareness during his heart surgery. He hears the doctors conspiring to screw up on purpose while they think he is passed out. Jessica Alba plays his wife who must make some decisions involving the life of her husband.

In limited release is The Savages about 2 siblings (Laura Linney & Philip Seymour Hoffman) who reunite to care for their dying father.

Man this movie doesn’t even have a Tomatoe Meter rating, it must be terrible. It’s kind of an interesting idea but… okay so he hears them plotting while he is asleep. So either they do it and he’s screwed or he wakes up and narcs them out. How can that be a movie?

apparently they dont want to give away much in the trailer. i think its gonna be some kind of mind fuck type movie where he tries to contact alba even though hes under the drugs. whatever, i didnt think it looked good anyway.

wow yeah i checked the tomato-meter…it got a whopping 6%. that may be the lowest score i’ve ever seen on there. i take a critc’s POV with a grain of salt, but the law of avarages says that someone has to like it…well a second look shows that ONE person liked it. hah
