Hot Rod – from the Dudes who bring you SNL Digital Shorts, originating as The Lonely Island comedy group comes a unique comedy about a wannabe stuntman who arranges an impossible stunt to raise money for his dying stepfather. Starring Andy Samberg, Isla Fisher, and Ian McShane among others.

Who’s Your Caddy – an Atlanta rap star (Big Boi of OutKast fame) tries joining a snooty country club. He is denied by the uptight president (Jeffrey Jones) so they play a round of golf to decide the outcome.

Skin Walkers - a young boy is in between two groups of battling werewolves. One group must protect him and the other group is trying to kill him. The mother must find out why her son is in the middle of this battle of epic proportions.

Mr. Bean’s Holiday - Rowan Atkinson returns as his famous character, Mr. Bean. This time ol’ Bean wins an all expense paid European vacation and gets himself into some hijinx.

Bratz: The Movie - the popular children’s dolls have become a live action movie. A bunch of girls go to a new high school where they refuse to be classified in particular cliques. This outrages the head chick in the popular clique and war begins.

I Know Who Killed Me – Lindsay Lohan stars as a non-nude stripper in this horror thriller where she is kidnapped and tortured by a serial killer. She manages to escape but believes she is not the same person after these traumatic events.

Waitress – a waitress (obviously) played by Keri Russell is treated like shit by her husband (Jeremy Sisto). When she becomes pregnant, she starts falling in love with her doctor which leads to an affair. Directed by the late Adrienne Shelly.

The Namesake – a movie starring Kal Penn (Kumar) and his family as they move from Calcutta to New York. Of course along with that big move comes the dealing with big changes going from India to America.

Futurama: Bender’s Big Score – the Matt Groening created and cancelled cartoon returns with a full length movie. Planet Express sees a hostile takeover and Bender falls into the hands of criminals where he is used to fulfill their schemes.

I’ll just lump everything else together since there were a lot of new releases today.
We get Hot Fuzz SE, Return to Neverland SE, Elvis: Blue Suede Collection, The OC series, Happy Days Season 3, Mork & Mindy Season 3, and Laverne & Shirley Season 3.

I was a big fan of the silly movie Hot Rod. I’m a Lonely Island fan for sure.
But Futurama returning makes me want to run out and buy the DVD.
FUTURAMA ALL THE WAY!

OMG! BRATZ: the movie is out?!!!! I’m so there!

The Namesake is pretty good. But it’s more of a movie about the parents than Kumar. If you’re looking for good ol’ fashion Kumar fun, then do yourself a favor and watch this season on HOUSE!
